There’s always
more to the story.
Hello.
We’re Something Else Films.
We are here to earnestly and accurately tell compelling stories of interest through the art of documentary filmmaking.
We’re committed to telling stories about justice, altruism, compassion, heroism, fate and the occasional intangible.
We expose the good and the bad, counter misinformation, and always strive to be a stimulus for change or understanding, through maintaining synergy with our team of storytellers, collaborators and the people behind our stories.
And we’re the team behind the scenes.

“Docs are labors of love. They are the seeds of tears, of joy, of sadness, of fear, and of shock, often leading to altruistic behavior. They are authentic if done right, because unvarnished, they expose real people with real feelings, derived from real situations.”
— Ken Nolan
